Well, after a good night's sleep, it is time once again to finish up a couple of projects and ponder on why I desire to create and where my inspiration comes from. It is so hard for me to put into words that quickening in my chest and the tingle of excitement that runs up the back of my neck. Having the opportunity to focus on art is a dream from my childhood that was forgotten and now has been infused in my life. I do not deserve such lavishness, but I am continually grateful.
This sheet of letters is SO beautiful, Jo. I'm glad I found your blog page. I happened to click on your photo under my "Followers" and happily saw that it linked to this blog! (I'm such a newbie at this blog/Etsy stuff, that I'm still stumbling around trying to figure things out.)
ReplyDeleteWould love to have a chat with you sometime about calligraphy, etc.
And I love what you wrote in this post. I, too, can't believe I get to play like this! :-)
Hi Julie, thank you for your nice comments. I too am new to the blogging thing. In the post I was practicing expressing my views on creating so I could could write an artist statement. Putting into words my creative process is not something I have much experience with. I do love calligraphy and have been engulfing myself in calligraphic art for the last couple of years. I look forward to corresponding with you in the future.
